Design

  • All Catheters basically comprise a 2 lumen or 3 lumen shaft with proximal funnel, inflation valve and distal retaining balloon.
  • Balloon fill volumes in ml and shaft size in French Gauge (Fr), Charriere (Ch) or millimeter (mm) are indicated on the funnel of each individual catheter and the distal tip type can be indicated on the individual pack label and / or outer carton.
  • Sizes range from 6 to 30 Ch / Fr. Lengths will vary between 20 and 45cm.
  • The smooth and longer eyes allow non-traumatic insertion and maximum drainage
  • The ribbed funnel ensures an easy, leak proof connection while the clear connector and shaft allow visual examination of drainage
  • The drainage lumen is comparatively bigger and thus allows better drainage of Urine and blood clots

Packaging

  • All catheters are double packed in polyethylene inner cover and outer pouch of paper/blister film.
  • The pouch is tested for microbial barrier

Latex Foley Catheter

  • Smooth tapered tip facilities for easy introduction thereby reducing urethral trauma.
  • Symmetrical shaped balloon which expands equally in all directions.
  • Accurately formed drainage lumen for efficient flow of urine.
  • Larger circular drainage lumen for efficient flow of urine.
  • Smooth flexible siliconised catheter shaft to provide patient comfort.
  • Integrally bonded Reinforced junction between the inflation funnel and the catheter shaft to ensure reliability thus preventing detachment during use.
  • Consistent shaft gauge.
  • Plastic valves or Rubber valves fitted as per the convenience of the customers.
  • Color circular sleeves for easy identification of size. Lateral opposing eyes (If requested by the customer).

2 Way Latex Foley Catheter Female

Similar in design to the 2way Standard foley catheter the SISCOCATH latex female foleys are of a shorter length (Approximately 260mm).

3 Way Latex Foley Catheter

  • SISCOCATH latex 3 way foley catheters have been designed to irrigate the Bladder continuously without disconnecting the catheter from a closed drainage system.
  • The drainage eyes are also staggered and bigger for effective drainage (After TURP, the blood clots removal can be effective).
  • SISCOCATH 3 way foley catheters can also be supplied with 4 eyes with extra stiff tip upon demand.
